Jiwoon Yoon is a Korean artist, born in Pyeong­Taek near Camp Humphrey ­­one of the largest U.S. army bases in South Korea. When Yoon was 6 years old, she moved to Seoul. After learning about her family history from her father (her grandfather evacuated North Korea during the Korean War), she became interested in the division of the two Koreas and the resulting displaced Korean population. She currently lives and works in New York and has begun studying the effects of the U.S. Armed forces in East Asian and South East Asian countries.

Nicole Maloof was born in 1983, in Seoul, Korea. She was adopted as an infant by an American family, and was raised south of Boston. In 2009, she came to Korea for the first time upon receiving a teaching Fulbright. The cross cultural experience deeply influenced her artistic practice, effecting a conceptual trajectory rooted in cultural constructs, power structures, and questions of gender.

Yujin Lee is a self-proclaimed TCK (Third Culture Kid). Having lived outside of Korea for 14 years, Lee's recent work is based on postcolonial research, bringing forward peripheral stories of the past and the present that have been overlooked in the aftermaths of globalization and capitalism under the Western hegemony.

Bora Kim is an interdisciplinary artist and sociologist from Seoul, Korea. Her process is based on cultural research revolving around the spectacle and performance of Asian femininity, particularly in the context of global media. Her work addresses the public gaze and occupies the sphere of popular culture. She is working with Karin Kuroda and Samantha Y. Shao in “I’m Making a Boy Band” project. Kuroda is a research consultant/writer and creative collaborator from New York City, focused on the intersectional narratives of minority politics. She serves as the director of editorial content and oversees the curation of production, social media, theoretical research, and critical analysis. Shao is a curator/writer from Taipei, Taiwan, who is interested in cultural translation and post-colonialism. Shao serves as the communications and development director.

윤지운은 캠프 험프리스 주한 미군이 주둔한 경기도 평택에서 태어났고 이후 6살무렵 서울로 이사하였다. 그가 대학교 1학년 무렵 할아버지가 육이오전쟁당시 북한에서 남한으로 피난온 가족사를 아버지께 듣게 되었고, 이후 남북한의 분단현실과 실향민에 대해 관심을 갖게 되었다. 최근 그는 뉴욕과 서울에서 거주하고 작업하며 동아시아와 동남아시아에 미친 미군의 영향을 탐구하고 있다. 

니콜 말루프는 1983년 서울에서 태어났지만 유아기때 미국인 가족에게 입양되어 보스턴 남쪽의 소도시에서 자랐다. 2009년 풀브라이트 장학생으로 한국에 처음 방문했고, 그런 비교 문화적 경험은 그녀의 예술 세계에도 큰 영향을 주었다. 말루프의 작업은 문화적 틀, 권력의 구조, 그리고 성 구분에 관한 근본적 질문들을 바탕으로 하고 있다. 

이유진은 자칭 TCK (제 3문화 아이)이다. 지난 14년간 해외에서 생활해온 작가는 후기식민주의 자료를 바탕으로 서방 패권하의 세계화와 자본주의의 여파에 소외된 주변적 이야기들을 작업의 전면에 내세운다. 

김보라는 다양한 매체를 사용하는 미술가이자 사회학자이다. 문화연구를 바탕으로 아시아 여성성의 스펙터클과 수행성을 글로벌 미디어의 맥락에서 푸는 작업을 한다. 자주 공공의 시선에 관련된 주제를 다루며 대중문화 속에 존재하는 결과물을 만들고자 한다. 현재 I’m Making a Boy Band 프로젝트에서 카린 쿠로다, 사만다 Y. 샤오와 같이 작업하고 있다. 카린 쿠로다는 연구 컨설턴트이자 글 쓰는 사람으로 소수인종 정치학의 이야기에 관심이 많다. 이 프로젝트에서 에디터로서 제작, 소셜미디어, 이론연구, 비판적 분석을 돌보고 있다. 사만다 Y. 샤오는 큐레이터이자 글 쓰는 사람으로 문화 번역과 후기식민주의이론에 관심이 많다. 이 프로젝트에서 커뮤니케이션과 개발을 담당하고 있다.
